I remembered a conversation with a good childhood friend of mine about professions and stereotypes that go along them.

Doctor

  • Terrible handwriting

Truckdriver

  • Overweight and mustache

Teacher

  • Angry look

Strip dancer

  • easy going, drugs, not that bright…

That’s the way we are. Sometimes I feel that first thing God gave us was jealousy. Then he taught us to criticize and gifted us with an amazing ability to see something bad or suspicious everywhere. At least, this is what I come up with while living my 26 years of life in Latvia. Think about it, first thing that comes to mind is something bad! I’m pretty sure that truck driver is an excellent driver with a remarkable ability to concentrate for long periods of time… No, we label him as overweight with a fat royal mustache. Teacher has so many great qualities, but we view him as a grumpy and always angry character that tells us to do what we don’t want to. Of course, there are exceptions, but I’m speaking in an overall conception.

”OK, and how about strip dancer?” My friend asked. “What are the great qualities there? Long legs, big breasts, and beautiful face and long hair?”

So here we came to another stereotype that society has forced upon us – looks are everything in this industry! Girls make their money only based on looks. Key to success is breast size and waist size.

Not really, is it?

What is the key to success in this industry? What is the common pattern that we see in girls who earns considerably more than the rest of the team in every club they fly in?

Don’t get me wrong, look is important. First impression and emotions come exactly from what we see. But every man will agree with me that true sexuality comes from inside… Charisma, the way she looks at you and the way she presents herself, is the key factor that makes us men choose one over the other.

The same is true for men who visit strip clubs.

Every man sooner or later understands if money is everything she wants. These dollar signs in your eyes, beautiful ladies, cannot be hidden. Same goes with coldness. Apathy and full unconcern about someone who is in front of you. And last but not least, no one can hide ignorance. A conversation will go nowhere if one of the participants is clueless on subject. Sometimes you feel uncomfortable when a  topic cannot be found with someone in from of you. You lose interest to spend time with this person and move on…

Our usual clients are the ones who  bring most money to our business. Take a look at this guy in dark blue jacket. He comes every weekend and has left thousands here already… See that dark haired girl next to him? He comes to her, talks only to her. You know why? She listens to him. She’s an interesting conversational partner with her own opinion and that playful look…  She makes me crazy as well! (laughs). You will never be great at sales if the product or service is given for the sole reason of getting clients money. Great sales person is the one who truly wants to help, to make things better and life easier.

Working with clients in a car dealership, store or nightclub, it’s all sales. Only here you have to sell yourself. Your income is based on looks and mind. More sympathy, wholeheartedness, kindness, ability to truly listen grow your value exponentially. The more value you can give other people the more zeros you will see at the end of your bank account.
